Nyck de Vries built an impressive career across multiple categories, winning the 2019 FIA Formula 2 Championship and becoming the 2020–21 Formula E World Champion. He also achieved success in karting, winning back-to-back World Karting Championships in 2010 and 2011.
De Vries made his Formula 1 race debut as a substitute for Williams at the 2022 Italian Grand Prix, scoring points on his debut. He then competed full-time for AlphaTauri during the 2023 F1 season.
His motorsport career extends beyond Formula 1, including Formula E, FIA Formula 2, karting, Super Formula and endurance racing. In 2026, de Vries achieved a major endurance-racing milestone by winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans overall with Toyota.
